Appeal to The Community

9/16/08 Dear Community Leaders: As you know that children are our most precious resource. Many of our youth do not have clothing to wear in the winter. I am asking you to donate to the children in the city of Cleveland and other suburbs. These children need winter coats, boots, gloves and hats. Also, school uniforms are needed. Appeal To Youth

Dear Friends and Associates: The Cleveland Metropolitan Schools require that our youth wear dress code. This was provided free last year unfortunately this year parents have to go into their pockets to provide clothing. It was brought to my attention that a 16 year old young man cannot afford to buy a dress code outfit. I am having an event on August 23rd for school supplies. I need donations of dress code clothing. Spring Olympics

On May 23, 2008 Marion Sterling and Carl & Louis Stokes Academy Of The Cleveland Metropolitan School District will unify and participate in a Spring Olympics. Event promoting cooperation between schools and neighborhoods in the Central village. Never a problem. I am an educator that is unhappy with the present education system. Students are not learning. All they learn is how to take a test.
