I have spent 30 years working in the Child Support Enforcement program. I see how the lack of strong and suportive families since 1960 have and are continuing to destroy the Black race.
I hope that we can begin an online dialogue about how we must change the messages that shape the poor values that our families and youth are hearing, reading, seeing, believing, internalizing and adopting as nornal and desirable lifestyles.
Our youth are the future of our race. If we do not nurture and support them, they will engage in behaviors that will leave them unprepared to overcome the challenges they will encounter in the world. Their inability to be self-sufficient will result in their demise, thus, the extinction of the Black race.
What are the problems of our youth?
We have failed to create self-sustaining institutions capable of transmitting to each generation of Black youth the lessons that it is their duty and purpose in life to secure the gains made by prior generations, to build on those gains, and to position the next generation to be able to do the same.
How will you take back our youth?
I will teach our youth to take responsibility for discovering and honoring their purpose for being born. They must be taught to properly discharge their duty to bring the gifts of love, joy, happiness, peace, harmony and life to this earth and future generations. They must be taught that when they produce fear, promote hatred, spread sadness, engage in acts of violence and fail to educate themselves, their living on this earth has been in vain. The world is worst off not better as a result of their birth. Our youth must act on the truth that “for things to change, they must change;” that “for things to get better, they must get better.” If they “fail” in this life, they will inherit “hell” in the next life.
