About Me:
I am a mother of one grown daughter, who is currently attending college. I have been a government worker for over 17 years, currently I am a manager and supervisor DFAS contracted and non-contracted. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. I have been a Sunday school teacher for about 15 years. I have been the director of my churches youth department for 10 years. I am, also, the editor for the souvenir journal for the State Women's Depart for Ohio Northwest. I will support any group that is structured which is looking to have a positive influence on our young people. In my free time I like to go to plays, read, go to gospel concerts, go out to dinner and talk about the goodness of the Lord.
Why should we support our youth?
We should support our youth because without positive teaching and training our youth have been slowly dying right before our eyes. We need to educate our youth, so that they can become strong leaders and not a burden on society. Our youth are our future. Wouldn't it be sad if there weren’t anyone to carry on positive teaching, culture reinforcements, and biblical knowledge after we are gone?
What are the problems of our youth?
Our youth are so caught up by fame and fortune that they don’t respect themselves and they don’t care if others respect them. The youth our living in world that see things in the way of “me, myself, and I.” The young people are not taught to care about others.
How will you take back our youth?
In order to take back the youth they need to be taught the word of God and how to be a respectable person in the current world. Also, by letting the young people know that knowledge open doors and that we have to be prayerful if we want changes to happen in our lives.
